Custom Wine Cellars & Display Walls
Designed and built in Sonoma for collectors who demand seamless glass enclosures, precision hardwood racking, and flawless architectural integration.

Precision Joinery for Controlled Environments
A successful wine cellar requires harmony between mechanical refrigeration and architectural casework. While your mechanical contractor engineers the 55°F / 65% RH climate system, MCA Creative designs and fabricates the woodwork that lives within it.
Rot-Resistant Species
Heartwood American Black Walnut and California Coastal Redwood that thrive in humid environments.
Thermal Decoupling
Racking mounts engineered with thermal breaks to prevent condensation bridging through framing.
Concealed Equipment Access
Magnetic hardwood access grilles that disguise evaporator coils while permitting routine servicing.
Frameless Glass Scribing
Precision perimeter jambs routed to receive insulated argon double-pane architectural glass.
Napa Valley Tasting Room & Wine Lounge
600-bottle custom walnut display wall in St. Helena with integrated low-voltage LED channels.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you coordinate with wine refrigeration contractors?
We work directly with your mechanical HVAC contractor (such as Wine Guardian or CellarPro). We incorporate their duct sizes, supply/return grille locations, and line-set drops into our 3D shop drawings before milling begins.
Can you build modern wine walls in main living areas?
Yes. Modern wine display walls frequently open onto dining rooms or great rooms. We engineer insulated thermal enclosures with dual-pane low-E glass and concealed perimeter gaskets to keep condensation off your living room floors.
What lighting is safe for long-term bottle aging?
We exclusively integrate low-voltage, zero-UV, low-heat 2400K–2700K high-CRI LED channel lighting. Aluminum extrusion heat sinks are routed directly into our solid hardwood vertical standards to ensure zero heat transfer to wine bottles.
